I am a great believer in the power of perspective.
When I was 11 years old and deathly ill in the hospital my aunt Jill gave me a kaleidoscope. On my darkest days, there was usually some light in my room that I could look towards and see a rainbow of colours dancing through the lens. When I was high on pain killers the view was psychedelic.
It's always enlightening to find a different viewpoint.
