Mum's the Word

Be silent about my Mum? No way!

I won the Mum lottery and I know it.

She’s easy to celebrate, and it’s her day so I am here to say just a few of things that I love about my Mother:

I have always felt unconditionally loved. Is there a better foundation for a child?

Making people laugh is easy for her and…

…she laughs loud and often.

Mum enjoys a good dance party and can shake her booty with the best of 'em.

My “Mamacita” is always there to catch me in her (wide and strong) safety net.

She has a generous spirit - with her stuff, support, words and home!

“Mumsy” doesn’t enjoy cooking, but will make you feel like Julia Child if you make her a meal.

A true “Mama Bear", she celebrates my successes and always wants the best for me.

Never boring, no topic is off limits with Mum. Even, or especially, at the dinner table!

Mum doesn't flinch in the face of adversity - she's brave, resilient and strong.

She utilizes the power of perspective regularly.

An animal lover, Mum connects with even the smallest creatures.

A well-loved Nana, now that our kids are past imaginative playtime (her specialty), no one cheers louder for them in the stands!

Our mother is humble; I’m not sure she realizes the magnitude of her creativity, intelligence and artistic abilities.

I hope she knows how loved she is, not just on Mother’s Day, but 365 days a year!

Mum, I wish I was there to celebrate with you in person, but your influence, and love of motherhood is with me always.
