"Mother Nature’s Masterpiece"

To me, orchids are sculptural, like art. One of my favourite flowers, I’ve often felt guilty about discarding them after their flowers fell off.


In our new neighbourhood, robust colourful orchids sprout from the trunks of palm and poinciana trees. What magic is this?


A new found fact for me; when attached to some tropical trees an orchid becomes rooted and finds new life. The result is glorious!


I’m excited to give my latest orchid new life. I’m patiently waiting for the final bloom to drop.


Next month, a palm tree in our garden will take on a new role as host; maybe, with some TLC, we can make a Van Gogh out of a stick figure.


Here’s hoping for my orchid that life is “better in the Bahamas."
