Bad hair day, great boat day!
At the end of an epic day at sea, my hair had a story to tell.
My fingers jammed as I tried to weave them through my tangled strands. I could feel evidence of sand, crusty sea salt and sunscreen – mixed with the wind I had a boater’s bouffant!
I burst out laughing when I saw myself in a photo.
A recent MRI showed that a few of the MS plaques in my brain are “active.” My hair seemed to be mimicking what is going on inside my head; a bit messy, but things will be smoother soon.
I grabbed a bottle of conditioner and combed out most of the knots. Some remained, and that’s ok, they remind me that I had a really good day.
